We are excited to invite you to a special FREE evening at Bankhead Elementary on Tuesday, October 22nd at 5:00 PM.
Bankhead, Glenmore, and A.S. Matheson Elementary are partnering to host Dan Duncan, a former Bankhead student, parent of a child with ADHD, and an ADHD Coach, Consultant, and Academic Strategist.
Dan will be presenting “Understanding and Responding to ADHD in Children”, a talk designed to help parents, educators and caregivers better understand ADHD and how it impacts children’s learning and behaviour.
This session will provide:
- Simple, easy-to-understand information about ADHD
- Practical ideas to reduce frustration and strengthen collaboration at home and school
- Strategies that build on your child’s strengths while addressing challenges
The event will be held in the Bankhead gym and childcare can be provided.
