Citizenship and Immigration
Facts and Figures 2010; Facts and Figures pages summarize immigration (of Permanent and Temporary Residents) to Canada in a series of tables and charts. Click on the sub-heading Permanent Residents. About halfway down the page is a chart showing immigration numbers by year. Under that are notes explaining the immigration patterns. At the bottom of the page is a table of the actual immigration numbers for those years.
Citizenship-here are the links to information about becoming a Canadian Citizen. Every year about 150,000 people become citizens.
